The week before we left for Spokane (for Christmas), Chris had to go to Hawaii for work. I asked my mom to come over for a few days so she could watch Cooper and I could finish Christmas shopping, wrapping, and pack for Spokane. Shockingly, she agreed.
It really felt like Christmas with this little surprise! Please notice that we were PLOWED OUT. Seriously, there was about 2 inches?! But don't take that as a complaint, just an observation. :)
Molly enjoyed it!
Christmas baking with Grandma Mel.
Grandma put Cooper in his cradle board again. It is amazing to see how much he has grown from the first time he was in it! My mom is using it in her classroom during her Native American unit. He loved being in it! He found the beading and the buckskin strings very interesting.
With Grandma Mel around to babysit, Mom and Dad got out for a nice little date! Drinks at Salish Lodge and dinner at Woodman. It was SO nice to have a night out, and the food was AMAZING! Chris and I couldn't remember the last time we went out for a nice steak dinner. Chris's BBQ'n skills are good, but that steak at Woodman...amazing. Thanks for babysitting Grandma!
