I finally captured one of my favorite Cooper expressions on camera! Here it is...
You be the judge.
- You have started to sit in the Bumbo. It is not your favorite, but it comes in handy when I need to plop ya down to fold laundry or something of that nature. You like it for a little while. You can look around and check things out. You are especially content if you are in front of a mirror.
- You are not really sure what to think of your jump-a-roo yet. It is still a little too big for you, but I put you in there every so often. You stay fairly content for extended amounts of time, just looking at ALL the cool things. I put a pillow under your feet so you are not just hanging there. You really enjoy "standing."
- You continue to rock a wicked little mullet.
- You moved to your own room. It was tough on Mommy (especially when the monitor decided to stop working...and after all the convincing she had to do to get Dad to buy a video monitor! Don't worry we have since got a replacement.). You on the other hand, did great! You continue to sleep well. You go to sleep anytime between 8:00 and 10:30 pm and wake up anytime between 5:00-7:00 am- usually closer to 5:00 am. You occasionally will have a "bad night" and wake up to nurse once or twice, but these nights are rare and you go back to sleep very easily. (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!)
- You try to soothe yourself by sticking your whole hand in your mouth. It makes you very happy when your thumb finds it's way in your mouth...even if you are poking yourself in the eye at the same time. Lately you have been finding your thumb more and more. A few times you have even put yourself to sleep by sucking on your thumb!
- I'm not sure if it is related to you discovering your thumb, but you are starting to refuse your pacifier. This has made for some interesting evenings...
- You have started to grab toys and put them in your mouth.
- You LOVE to "stand-up" right now. It is almost a guarantee to get a smile out of you if we hold you up so you can stand. Your little legs are so strong!
- You are really starting to show us your personality. You light up when Dad lifts you up in the air, or when you play with the cute baby in the mirror. You continue to "silent laugh." You look and act like you are laughing but no giggle comes out. We can't wait to hear your first real giggle buddy!! :)
We love you so much.

Oh my word, the connection to "Up" cracks me up! He's such a little cutie pie!!
