After spending Friday and Saturday in Grapeview, we came home to spend some time with my dad and my brother, Kelly. The four of us took Cooper to his first Mariners game on Sunday!
I knew this was a special day, but the people at the game made it even more special. The police officer who held up traffic for pedestrians to cross, took the time to ask Chris if this was Cooper's first game. The officer smiled, when Chris responded yes, and said, "Special day! Have fun!" Then walking through the gates there was an older man, who was an usher, handing out random baseball cards to all the kids who came through the gates- even the babies. He made my heart happy.
Of course he needed a minute to take in all the action.
Once he was comfortable....
he had a great time.
All this excitement can make a kid tired.
First Mariners home run. Slightly terrified by all the cheering, but no tears!
Overall, Cooper's first game was a huge success! Not only was he content the whole time (even took a good nap in the Bjorne), but the Mariners actually WON!
I look forward to all the games we will watch as a family. Hopefully, he will love a team like I loved the '95 team or even the 2001 team. Please Mariners, give this kiddo something to cheer about!

such a memorable day for your fam!
