PEPS

Cooper and I REALLY enjoy PEPS (Program for Early Parent Support). Both of us have developed great friendships.

I don't know why, but I thought I was going to be on the "young" end as far as the moms go in our group...turns out I am right in the middle. The group ranges from 26-33 years old. I am 29, despite the fact that I told my entire group I am 28. That's right. All the moms met up for drinks and left the babies with their dad's. We were going around the table sharing our age and I said,"28" with confidence. The best part is I didn't realize my mistake until I was driving home. Wow.

These ladies validate my concerns, calm my fears, and justify a glass of wine with friends.

Cooper also loves PEPS. He lays there and looks at all other babies and listens to the mom's conversations. He chimes in from time to time, but usually only when he is hungry.
