Tulip Festival

This weekend was very relaxing and full of sunshine and warm temperatures! Chris is enjoying a long break between semesters, and I made an effort to only work on homework on Saturday. Sunday was dedicated to the sunshine and spending time with each other. Since neither of had ever been to the Tulip Festival, we decided Sunday was the perfect day to go. Apparently, so did the rest of Western Washington...oh well.

Lesson learned: listen to Chris when it comes to directions. I usually do not drive when we are together, but since I have been super sensitive to getting car sick, I have been the driver lately. Welp, I typically go with the follow the mob of cars mentality. My thoughts for doing this: "All those cars MUST be going the shortest, fastest way." (The really scary thing is, I am pretty sure my mom has said the exact same thing...I am slowly becoming Melva Pryor) WRONG. Once I caved and went Chris's way, we avoided the masses and scored excellent parking. So on the way home Chris drove. It all works out better that way.

Any who... the Tulip Festival is BEAUTIFUL and something to see, but it was crazy busy. I think I can wait for a few years before I return.
