Here is Cooper during football season last year,
and this year.
If you didn't hear, the Seahawks won the Super Bowl! Chris and his friends (Bode, Lianna, Grant, Becker, Barker, and Cahoon) were there to see it all first hand. On his way to NYC the Bodes and Chris stopped in Philly.
They ate cheese steak.
Checked out Independence Hall,
and the Liberty Bell.
The highlight would have to be THE Rocky Steps of course!
They took the train to NYC.
They went to Super Bowl Boulevard.
They attended the official Seahawks tailgate at a roof top bar in Manhattan.
And of course the game.
Bruno Mars halftime show
All of the fans attending the Super Bowl received these little treats:
seat cushion and radio with head phones to listen to the game.
Everything you could need to stay warm: QB1 hand warmer fannie pack (I don't know the real name), gloves, ear warmers, hand warmers, bandana (didn't realize that was standard "bundle up" attire, but whatever works), sleeve for your hot cocoa, and chap stick.
THE ticket. And finally the beanie that all the fans were asked to wear during the half time show to create the lighting effects we saw at home.
I am SO happy that Chris was able to be at this game. He truly has a passion for football and I know he savored every moment.
Cooper and I watched the game with our neighbors and all the kids. It was a great time. The dads would SCREAM and then all the babies would start too. The highlight for the kids was definitely the half time show. Some day, when Cooper has a major crush on one of the neighbor girls, I will remind him that he pushed adorable Chloe away when she was trying to dance with him.
Still can't believe we actually won. We didn't just win, we made a statement, against the Broncos. Looking forward to next year!
