I am 30?

I have the best friends. Cliche, I know. But how else can I describe a group of women who have stayed so close through so much? I met (most of) these girls when I was 14. Well technically, I remember Fuller steam rolling me when I was about 12, but that is neither here nor there. Together we survived our teens, boyfriends, broken hearts, college, and the craziness of finding our places in the world. Instead of letting life get in the way of our friendships, life has made our friendships stronger. In the last year alone there has been a beautiful wedding, four little loves born into the world, one parent moved on to heaven, and one parent waved to heaven and became a walking, talking miracle. No matter what we have each other, through the good, the bad, and the real ugly.

To celebrate our friendship entering another decade (we are in our 30s!), we all met in sunny San Diego. It is no small feat to get us all together these days, between babies, boys in our lives, family and career commitments it is damn near impossible to find a date we can all get together. But the stars aligned and we all made our way to San Diego in mid August. (We missed Jamie! She had to cancel last minute!)

I will let the pictures do the talking...

(FYI- the pics are COMPLETELY out of order. It was too much work to get them in order. We spent time at the beach, an evening at Del Mar, and fun nights out on the town.)

It was an amazing weekend. Thank you Chris for taking care of Cooper while I had some much needed friend time. Mike and Jeanne too!
