It Takes a Village...

I am not going to lie. It is SO SO hard to live away from family. It would be so wonderful to have grandmas & grandpas close enough to babysit and help out on short notice. I know that any of them would be here ASAP if asked, but the distance makes it tough...on everyone.

Thank goodness I have such a great local support system. When Cooper was just 5 weeks old Chris had to travel to Hawaii for work (he has to go to Hawaii for a week about every six weeks). In the five nights he was gone, I was only on my own for two days of it. Thank you SO much Auntie Stone, Auntie Dawn, and Uncle Kyle! Your help and support is invaluable. We love you all so much.

Auntie Stone's first bath! She was SO cute! Obviously so concerned with his happiness that she forgot to take off his shoes. I died when she so proudly stated that he was ready for his bath. Really? :) Love you Stone!
